Reflecting on 2017

Wow this year has been AMAZING! I dove head first in Global Time Attack! Didn't know anyone there, kinda had a jist of the format. I got to race at Buttonwillow, Road Atlanta (which is my new fav track BTW), and Auto Club Speedway. I place on podium 3 times. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place during different races. Visited many cities across the nation. My husband and I have driven thousands of miles and spent countless hours on dreams we are both passionate about. Mine is to race nationally and his is to be a nomad. That's we call ourselves the Racing Nomads. Looking back, we have done a lot of stuff this year. Looking forward another action packed year in 2018.

For those who are just tuning in on my Instagram, YouTube, or my blog. My husband and I made a drastic change in our life this year. We rented out our house, got an equity loan to consolidate most of our debt, sold my Ducati and other items, saved as much money as we could, and bought a fifth wheel toy hauler. That is right we are full-time trailer people now! We got a 2017 Jayco Siesmic Wave 416W. It's 45 ft long with a garage area large enough to fit my 2009 Subaru Impreza WRX.

Now we're are in Maricopa, AZ with our little dog, Boom. My husband--who is a very smart man, I don't give him enough credit--specifically looked for a temp job in Phoenix, AZ because of a famous race school that you may have heard of. I will be attending Bondurant Racing School next week! I am sooo excited to upgrade my skills! I have learned a lot from driving on race tracks I have never been at, but this school is going to take me to a whole new level. I signed up for the 4-day Forza Motorsport Grand Prix Road Racing course. I will make sure to post my experience, so stay tuned.
