Who are the Racing Nomads? We are a crazy and adventurous racing family.

Jamie is the race car driver known as The Racing Chica. Nate is the Crew Chief, he calls himself Jack of All Trades Master of None. Boom is a Chihuahua/Min Pin mix, she’s our Race Puppy who provides emotional support on bad race days. And Medusa is a 2009 Subaru “Time Attack” WRX.

We fell in love racing across the country, whenever we took a road trip it was pure freedom. We love camping in the paddock area at racetracks. That’s when we really got to talk to other racers and fans, we felt like we never missed out on anything.

We decided 3 years ago that we would sacrifice whatever we needed to do to be able to race across the country at various racetracks. So we sold our house, our motorcycles, donated a bunch of things to size down from 1900 sq/ft house to 246 sq/ft for us and our dog and 146 sq/ft for Medusa.

You read that right, the race car gets its own space. We bought a brand-new 2017 Jayco Seismic Wave Fifth Wheel Toy Hauler. Try saying that 5 times fast. We have had quite the journey since we bought our home. We have visited over a dozen states, countless cities, and accidently ended up in downtown Trenton, NJ (don’t ask). We have raced at Road Atlanta, Buttonwillow, Auto Club Speedway, and Circuits of America. We have had our ups and downs, encountered new challenges, especially learning how to live in a trailer. But we wouldn’t trade our experiences for anything, we love being Racing Nomads. We dream of one day being apart of a professional racing team.
